Sterilization , Cleanliness and Disposable Materials
At the beginning of the day the floors are thoroughly scrubbed with scented Phenol which leaves the place clean and smelling fresh. All carpeted/non carpeted areas are meticulously cleaned with a high power vacuum cleaner to get all the dust mites out and prevent air borne infections if any. The chairs and all moving/rotating parts are sprayed with antiseptic solution and wiped clean with a soft cloth. After every patient the same procedure is followed for the chairs to prevent cross infection.

Instrument Sterilization:
Vaccum Sealing -All instruments are thoroughly washed in antiseptic solutions and wiped clean. They are the packaged into sterile pouches and vacuum sealed to prevent contamination. Digital autoclave -The instruments are then placed into a digital autoclave and autoclaved at 121 degrees centigrade temperature and 15 psi pressure. At this temperature all known disease causing bacteria are known to be killed. This is the standard autoclaving procedure followed in Operation Theatres worldwide.

Disposable materials:
Disposable gloves We use a fresh, new pair of gloves for every patient that is disposed off immediately after the treatment is completed. All gloves are torn as well so there is no question of whether any of them were ever used before. This is all done in front of every patient .

Disposable masks, suction tips, plastic glasses, and drapes Syringes and needles All local anesthetic is given from sealed syringes that are opened in front of you and disposed off immediately after treatment, needles are cut in needle cutters before disposal.

Dentists and patients mandatorily wear "Blue Blockers" ( glasses ) during tooth whitening procedures to prevent any harm to the eyes. We also use bottled water for rinsing your mouth during procedures.

The DIAGNOdent is a caries detection device that uses laser fluorescence to measure changes in the tooth structure caused by caries. The DIAGNOdent delivers an audible sound when caries is detected as well as a visual numerical readout quantifying the level of caries present in the tooth.

Intra Oral Camera

This pen-like camera permits to explore the mouth and take pictures that can be displayed on a monitor. The intra oral camera helps to locate cracked fillings, fractures in teeth and the designing of decay. With this camera, we are able to diagnose such problems before they become a matter of concern.

Air Abrasion

Air abrasion can remove decay in the early stage and can repair worn, chipped or cracked teeth. It is specifically effective when treating young patients. This new technology uses pressurized flow of tiny abrasive powder that gently wears away the decay or damaged tooth material. Rotary Endodontics

Rotary endodontic files use an engine to rotate the endodontic file during root canal treatment. The advantages of rotary endodontics are reduced instrumentation times and fewer files used during the procedure. Commonly Nickel-Titanium files are used because of their greater flexibility which permits increasingly curved roots to be treated. The use of Ni-ti files comes at a cost of at increased risk of fractured endodontic files, possibly necessitating endodontic retreatment
